Finally got back to reading yesterday. The book I have read and already finished is The silver linings playbook by Matthew Quick. It is the story of a man called Pat Peoples. Who was recently let out of a mental institute. The reader and Pat start to piece together the events that had taken place during his absence from the real world. Towards the end you do learn of why he was put there. The story is told in first person, and is done in a SG where you can really feel that Pat is damaged.
I’m trying to give as little away as possible. It is a really quick read which leave’s you depressed as there is yet to be a sequel. I would recommend anyone to pick this up as soon as they can.
